An Eternity of Descent

This story was inspired by a glimpse through my rearview mirror on a scorching summer's day a few months ago. I was driving Elizabeth to softball and this very unique vehicle with an equally unique driver pulled in right behind me. He captured my imagination and as usual, things took off in a strange, dark direction.
